After successfully relaunching 'SLA Industries 2nd Edition' on Kickstarter last year, it is time to expand the World of Progress with a further three sourcebooks:
Just want to let you know, we are now in the proofing stage for the entire COLLATERAL book. Dave and Jared plan to meet the weekend after next to finalise everything and start layout.
We are getting very close to alpha release!
Hi Everyone.
I have very good news. The writing and rules team lead by Dave and Benn are close to finishing both for COLLATERAL. This means the chapters are off to proofing and then layout. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
The last of our externally produced Hunter Sheets is inbound and Dave, Mark and Jared are working on the remained of the HS:DP1 book.
Our 'The Terminator RPG' KS is fulfilling right now
And 'Demon Dog', our Mork Borg compatible game is well over 800% funded and due to hit the streets in October.

We have also just published our monthly newsletter, hopefully you have seen it, but if not sign-up here.
As our marketing director, Garry Harper, so eloquently put it:
"An actual update newsletter, not the [ball swipe] “buy this” and “special offer that” type of news spam. This actually is informative!I want this to be something people want to pick up and read."
Dave has been working on finalising the Naga 7 chapter and it is now as good as there. It has been a task and has taken more time than he (and we) wanted or expected...but it is there now.
The remaining chapters in his to do list are quick flips as all are already well over 90% of the way there.
We have had the Hunter Sheets back from 3 of the commissioned writers, they need to be proofed and laid out, but we want to get COLLATERAL over the line first.
When I spoke with Jared about his tasks last week, he let me know he was planning to complete the writing of Manchine by the end of the weekend and get layout moving for Fauna and Gangs. I haven't had chance to talk to him on this before the update, so may need to alter this down the line, but before the next update...I'm sure the status will be correct.
Dave and Jared (the leads of SLA Industries and our Art and Production directors) did a thing - this is it...buy it its splatterpunk turned up to 11:

The art style Dave has gone for here is very reminiscent of SLA Industries 1st Edition
Luckily for you, you negotiated with one of the six Demon Barons and you get to finish your unfinished business. Go get revenge, seek redemption and … um, oh yeah, you made a pact. You'd better do what the demon wants too.
As a 'Demon Dog', you get to wander the world, dealing with all those people who deserve a bit of a shoeing. There's the Clergy and their Inquisitors that could do with tasting a head butt and they've got churches to burn. There's the press that peddle lies to the gullible with an open ear and they might not like it if their scriveners get a wee bit stabbed. What about the toffee-nosed monarchy and their loud-mouthed guards, they might want to go home in an ambulance wagon. Give it some welly.
But don't forget your Demon Baron needs stuff doing. Sometimes that's a bit less fun; other times, it's right up your street. Wayhey!
The Terminator RPG fulfilment has started.
Dave continues to munch through the lion's share of the writing, whilst finishing the art. He is very close on the latter.
The Naga 7 is going to be a lot of TRUTH. This is big, big news and taking a bit of time as it must be right. Most of the other chapters are well past the 80% written stage. With Manchine (by Jared) catching up fast.
Mark has finalised Fauna, Gangs and The Carrien and Cannibal part of Scary Monsters. Benn has signed of the rules for them and Jamie completed first proof. They are ready for layout.
Once COLLATERAL jobs are done, the team will move to the HS: Data Files 1 document. This will be a quick turn around, then SLASHER which will be even quicker.
Obviously the Species Guide Shaktar Wraithen is already with you in PDF form.
More news in a couple of weeks!
So as you know Shaktar/Wraithen PDF is published and obviously therefore the same book is ready for print.
All the extra stuff is with us already.
Leaving just the other 3 publications:
Although we have 8 arts left, 4 of those are in a state of completion. Most of the key writing is only a few hours per chapter away from being ready for proofing. Fauna is with the proofer. Manchine is our weakest chapter by far, but Jared tells us he will have it written within the next 1-2 weeks.
Slasher is a very small project and will be printed via a different method to the other books. Meaning it will be our last to go to print.
As you can see this is the last of our books and is the least well progressed. Each HS is 2 pages worth of writing and is very formulaic. The NPCs are each a page, and actually only approx 1/4 of a page of writing. All are with Jared and will start as soon as he gets through Manchine.
Jared also has 1 HS, Mark 1 or 2 and Dave the rest that aren't commissioned.
Overall we can see the end of the tunnel.
